What’s changed with your bike?
We investigate the problem, explain the possible repair and only work on your bike after you approve it.
Describe the problem
You describe the symptom. We investigate.
A repair starts with what you noticed: gears that are hard to shift, a brake losing power, a tire going flat or a noise from the wheel. At the shop, we check the affected system and look for other conditions that could cause the same problem. We explain what can be adjusted and what needs replacing. If a part needs replacing, we check compatibility and availability before finalizing the quote. We can start the conversation by message, but we need to see the bike to confirm the diagnosis.
You decide what goes on the workbench
After the assessment, we tell you what the repair includes and the estimated timeframe for your bike. If taking it apart reveals another issue, we talk to you before expanding the work. We adjust and replace components on conventional bicycles, following manufacturer specifications when available. When you pick up your bike, you can check the work and ask what signs to watch for while riding. We don’t carry out structural repairs on cracked frames.
What We Can Check at the Workbench
-
Brakes and controls
We check brake wear, adjustment and operation. The system installed and the condition of its parts determine what we can do after an in-person assessment.
-
Gears and drivetrain
When gears slip or make noise, we check the shifters, derailleurs, chain and areas of wear. Then we explain whether an adjustment or replacement is needed.
-
Wheels and tires
We investigate punctures, pressure loss and irregularities you feel while riding. The proposed repair depends on the condition of the tire, tube and wheel.
What happens when you ride?
Tell us what you’ve noticed to get the conversation started. We confirm the work after examining your bike.
