How you ride shapes the tune-up

Before booking, we ask how you use your bike: riding in the city every day, taking occasional outings or training more often. That guides our conversation, but doesn’t replace an inspection. With your bike at the shop, we check safety and working components, identify possible adjustments and show you wear that needs attention. Our proposal reflects your bike’s condition, not a one-size-fits-all package. The time needed depends on the approved work and parts availability.

What’s Included in the Tune-Up? We’ll Explain.

Booking helps organize drop-off and sets aside time for the initial assessment. After examining your bike, we explain which adjustments fit within the tune-up and which repairs or replacements need separate approval. At the end, we tell you what we did and what still needs attention as you ride and parts wear. A tune-up doesn’t automatically fix structural damage or replace care between visits. If we find something outside the shop’s scope, we’ll let you know.

What We Check

  1. Brake condition

We observe how the controls respond and look for visible signs of wear. The installed system and condition of the parts determine which adjustments are possible and what we recommend.

  2. Gear shifting

We test the drivetrain and look for looseness, noise or wear that affects shifting. If a part needs replacing, we discuss it separately.

  3. Wheels and fasteners

We check the observable condition of the wheels and accessible fastening points. If anything requires work beyond the tune-up, we present a proposal before doing it.
