In-person assessment

Every bike comes with a story. We listen.

Terragswift is a bike shop in Alto da XV, Curitiba. Since 2021, we’ve carried out repairs and scheduled tune-ups and sold parts and accessories. We serve people who ride to work, run errands, train or enjoy the weekend. You don’t need technical terms to describe a problem: tell us what changed when you rode. We examine the bike and explain what we find and your service options in plain language. That way, you know what work you’re considering, why we recommend it and what to watch for afterward. You can also ask about measurements and compatibility before buying a part.

At the workbench, nothing changes without a conversation

First, we listen. Then we check your bike in person and present a quote before doing the work. At the workbench, we keep removed components organized and distinguish between what can be adjusted and what’s worn or needs replacing. If a tune-up reveals another issue, we talk before changing what we agreed. That applies to a one-off repair and to a bike ridden every day. We’re also clear about our limits: we don’t carry out structural repairs on cracked frames or work on motorcycles. Some timeframes depend on compatible parts arriving; the result of an adjustment also depends on other components and how the bike is used afterward.

First, we listen.

What We Agree on Each Visit

  1. In-person assessment

We listen to the rider and check the bike before deciding on the work. Photos and messages help with the first conversation, but don’t replace an inspection.

  2. Agreed scope

We explain the proposed work before starting. If taking the bike apart reveals another issue, you decide before we expand the work.

  3. Clear limits

If a part isn’t available or a problem is outside the work we do, we’ll tell you. You decide the next step knowing what we found.
