Cookies and Local Storage
Cookies are small records that a website can ask your browser to save and retrieve on later visits. Local storage, also called local storage, is another browser feature: it stores information associated with a website’s address without necessarily creating a cookie. Both can remember choices, support site functions or, if additional tools are used, enable usage measurement and promotional activities.
These technologies do not all serve the same purpose. A record needed to remember your privacy choice has a different purpose from an identifier used to track visits. How they work and how long they remain also depend on your browser, its settings and whether you clear your data. This policy distinguishes the record we use to save your choice from the optional categories shown in the cookie notice.
How the Site Uses These Technologies
When you open the site without a saved choice, you see a notice offering options to accept, reject or configure categories. Your decision is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key cookie_consent. The record shows that the necessary category is active and which options you accepted or rejected. This keeps the notice from reappearing on every page after you make a choice.
Optional categories remain off until you give consent. Accepting a category allows its potential use for the purpose described below; it does not, by itself, mean that a tool in that category is already installed or operating. If optional technologies are introduced, their use must respect your saved choice. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the control described on this page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before that change.
Preference Categories
You can reject all optional categories using an option displayed as prominently as the option to accept them. Under “Configure”, you can choose the analytics and marketing categories separately without changing the necessary category.
What May Be Stored
The table distinguishes the preference record the site actually uses from possible optional records. It does not state that analytics or marketing identifiers are already in use. Before activating new tools, this policy must provide specific information about them, including names and retention periods where applicable.
If you use another browser or device, the preference saved here does not transfer automatically. A private browsing window may also discard the record when the session ends. In these cases, the notice may appear again so you can make a new choice.
How to Change Your Choice
Use the button below to reopen the notice. You can accept all categories, reject the optional ones, or open the settings, adjust your choices and save. Your new decision replaces the previous preference saved in this browser. You do not need to explain the change or accept optional categories to keep reading the site.
You can also delete this site’s data in your browser’s privacy settings. Find the cookies and site data section, select the data associated with terragswift.site and delete it. Menu names vary by browser. When you remove cookie_consent, you delete your saved preference; the notice will appear again on your next visit. Blocking all local storage in your browser may prevent your choice from being remembered, even after you make it.
Third-Party Content
Services needed to make a website available, such as a hosting provider, may process technical data involved in delivering its pages. That does not automatically make the data analytics or marketing cookies. If a page later includes external content or optional tools that can store data in your browser, Terragswift must assess that activity, update the relevant information and respect your choice before allowing the optional categories to be used.
External sites reached through links may have their own policies and controls. When you leave Terragswift’s domain, check the destination site’s information to understand its practices. This policy describes preferences for our site; it does not control records created by external pages you choose to visit.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this text to reflect changes to how the site works, the technologies used or legal requirements. The date at the beginning of the page identifies the version shown. If a change significantly alters processing based on consent, we will ask you to make an appropriate choice before using data for the new purpose. An old preference should not be interpreted as automatic authorization for purposes other than those explained when you made your choice.
